Lovely green onyx stone and ormolu mounts, this clock has an 8 day movement by French clockmaker A D Mougin with a Theibe adjustable pendant.
Mougin was a French clockmaker working in the mid nineteenth century. The Deux Medailles and star are Mougin's trademarks that symbolize two medals he won from exhibitions during his career prior to 1900. This trademark can usually be found stamped on the back of his clocks.
