Shipping policy
GENERAL SHIPPING For some items shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Order processing times are generally 48 hours. Delivery times are generally 3-5 business days. PLEASE NOTE THAT DURING OUR ANNUAL "WINTER HOURS" PERIOD, AS NOTIFIED ON THE HOMEPAGE, SHIPPING WILL ONLY BE PROCESSED ONCE A WEEK ON FRIDAYS. Please select the Rural Delivery option if this is appropriate, not doing so may result in an inability to process your order. While all possible care is taken in packaging French Originals bears no responsibility for goods in transit. We use NZ Post Parcel Post for our smaller Home Decor items, damaged or lost items may be able to be refunded as per the NZ Post policy.
OVERSIZE ITEMS For items in our Furniture Collection that do not have a calculated cost at checkout please contact us for a quote prior to placing your order. Be aware that some of our pieces are large, these pieces would need to be either crated to your destination or would need some assembly at your destination. Contact us to discuss your piece and the options available. For larger items French Originals may be able to offer a personalised Delivery & Assembly service in your area, please contact us to discuss this. Alternatively you are welcome to organise and use your own handler. All shipping excludes insurance and will be shipped at the owners risk. Typically most people's home contents insurance cover has provision for their property in transit, please check with your insurance provider if you are covered.
IN STORE PICKUP We allow in store pick up during normal shop hours. If you would like to arrange to pick up outside of our shop hours please contact us.
LOCAL DELIVERY French Originals is based in Whangarei in Northland. We may be able to offer a local delivery, contact us to discuss.
