Sourced personally from the markets of Gaziantep in south eastern Turkey, this is my soap of choice. Very limited quantity, I don't know when I will be back in Turkey to get more!
Aleppo soap contains no unnatural gunk, chemicals, fragrances or animal fats. A natural soap made of Olive oil and added Laurel oil, it has a rich earthy smell that makes it a pleasure to use. This soap has been made in the traditional method by Syrian refugees from Aleppo in far south east Turkey. So gentle you can forget shampoo or shower gel, use over your whole body. Golden brown on the outside, a sign of the prolonged drying, the inside still the emerald green of the Laurel oil.
