A remarkable find. This antique French unbleached heavy flax linen flat sheet is unused, you can still see a faint blue of the drapers chalk where the hand embroidered initials were to go. But more amazing than that is the antique French thimble that was found folded up in the sheet. The very thimble used many years ago on the finger of the talented woman who made these lovely initials. 240mm wide x 330mm long
