Shabby, beaten and battered, from the trenches of World War One. A French Military Infantrymans Bugle, with original braided cord and remnants of cloth a real piece of history, manufactured in 1899.

It bears the mark of Couesnon et Cie who were a major French musical instrument manufacturer who also produced bugles for the French Military. The address mark "94 Rue d'Angoulême" was used before 1937, and the two-digit code in the pineapple logo is the year of manufacture.
