This lamp was originally a whale oil lamp dating from the mid 1800's.
At some time in it's long life the original wick carrier has been replaced with a brass light bulb holder complete with a bakelite on-off switch.
It is suitable to be fitted with any shade of your choice.
Wiring is approved for use in NZ.
