A well used vintage French enamelled tin measuring jug in the traditional blue and white, with the volumes marked on the inside.
Designed to be wall hung, usually found in the local grocery shop for dispensing milk or other liquids into the shopper's own jug or bottle. We are told they were sometimes used in pharmacies to measure doses of medicine.
Capacity 2 litres, height 26cm dia 13cm.
