Serious collector's piece. Villegoureix Noël & Cie were among the many small companies in Limoges in the very early 1920s. As with many other small companies, they were only in existence for a very short period of time, a few years at most. These identifiable pieces are scarce, so finding a complete set such as this is extremely rare. Decorated by transferware, with flowers in purples and yellows, imperfections in the transferware and the casting making each piece individual. I absolutely adore this set and consider it irreplaceable.
